Living in Toronto, you’ve always got options, including restaurants of all different sizes and variety of

And the mouth-watering events – how your calendar could be filled with anything but our amazing food and drink festivities is beyond me.

Here’s the very latest:

Open:

Big Jack’s Burger Shops
179 Parliament St.

Known in Markham for their 6oz. burgers, the new spot at Queen and Parliament offers east enders their patties (made daily), available in beef, lamb and chicken with sides of fries, onion rings, poutine and salads.

Cactus Club Café
First Canadian Place
77 Adelaide St. W.

Known on the west coast for their views of the ocean and superb globally-inspired fare, Cactus Club Café has finally arrived in Toronto. Over three floors in First Canadian Place, the space has everything from Warhol and Basquiat works to a fully retractable roof. Stay tuned. I’ll have an inside look for you tomorrow.

Constantinople Bakery & Coffee
536 Queen St. W.

Constantinople Bakery & Coffee (say that three times fast) offers those in the Queen and Portland area a chance to get their caffeine fix via Turkish coffee, creamy lattes and bold espressos. Propeller Coffee is making them an exclusive blend called "The Sultan."

Should you want some sustenance, sandwiches and pastries including Belgian Chocolate Croissants and Turkish Böreks are at the ready.
