Open/Closed for the week of February 13-19

There’s a little bit of everything this week, including winter essentials of waffles, toasted sandwiches, oxtail pho and spicy Thai.

Open:

Khao San Road 
11 Charlotte St. 

 After a lengthy closure, Khao San Road reopens tonight in their new spot on Charlotte.

The grand opening takes place tonight from 5-11pm with one free main dish per person (first come, first served).

There’s a raffle happening, with proceeds going to Mealshare and an upstairs bar - Bang Sue – with drinks and snacks.

Potbelly Sandwich

180 Bloor St. W.

The second location of the toasted sandwich chain opened Tuesday. 

A third spot will follow at Yonge and Sheppard.

Saigonlotus

6 St. Andrew St.

Kensington Market’s newest resto offers Vietnamese fare, with a ton of fresh options including 12 fresh rolls - Shrimp & Pork Belly ($2.50), Jicama, Peanut & Spicy Hoisin ($2.50), and Grilled Shrimp Sausage ($3).

Tuck into winter warm-ups including Oxtail Pho ($12), Shrimp Wonton Soup ($5) topped bacon, six types of ramen ($10-$13), as well as many vegan selections, and a bevy of rice and noodle dishes. 

Stadt Café

3011 Dundas St. W.

The latest arrival in the Junction is a healthy one. 

Dishes are hormone-free, non-GMO, with some vegan fare as well.

The café is open tonight through Sunday for dinner, starting at 5pm, and starting on Tuesday, lunch will start at 11am.

Davisville residents have a new option for brunch, lunch and dessert.
