OpenClosed week of Oct 4-10.jpg

There are so many changes happening in restaurants right now. Blink and you’ll miss it.

The proof? The insane amount of openings (18!), and shocking closings (notably in the Dundas West ‘hood – what’s going on?) just this week alone.

Here’s the very latest:

The menu at French diner Le Swan (892 Queen St. W.) by Jen Agg (Grey Gardens, Rhum Corner) includes oysters ($36/doz.), Quarter Rotisserie Chicken ($18), Cobb Salad ($17), Chicken Fried Steak ($19), cocktails, milkshakes and dessert.

CLOSED

Campo Food Hall (433 King St W.) has been reimagined just a year after opening. It’s now Labora Restaurant and Bar by Chef Rob Bragagnolo. Previously, Labora was one of a few venues occupying the space, but the restaurant now occupies the full 3000+ square feet.

H2 Kitchen (204 Queen St. W.) is on the move less than a year after opening. They’ve left Queen West and are looking for a new space. Stay tuned.
