This week’s 16 new spots offer everything from donuts to dumplings, Egyptian to Tibetan. And the events are just as diverse. How much do you love this city right now?

OPEN

The Restaurant at The Adelaide Hotel (325 Bay St, 9th Floor) debuted earlier this week. The menu features “North American cuisine with local influences.” Stay tuned: the 31st floor will also be home to a new restaurant and bar, set to launch later this year.

Psst. Chef Patrick Kriss’ latest iteration just landed in Yorkville: Alobar 162 Cumberland St.).

Greek fried dough balls and frappes - what’s not to love at Ballissimo Loukoumades Bar (1027 Coxwell Ave.)?

With over 40 locations in the U.S., Bawarchi Biryanis is known for their 30+ varieties of biryanis. The chain launches “softly” north of the border in Scarborough (925 Warden Ave.) tomorrow.

BB’s Diner (76 Lippincott St.) all-day breakfast on pink picnic tables is bound to hit your Insta feed.

Toronto was the first destination outside of the U.S for Blaze Pizza back in 2015. The wildly successful chain with big-name founding investors (LeBron James and Maria Shriver among them) continues its expansion across the 6ix, landing across the street from Scotiabank Theatre (150 John Street). More venues to follow soon.

The first Blondies Pizza (1555 Dundas St. E.) by The Food Dudes opens today at 3pm. Hint: just look for the tiny pink building.

Chicken and waffle lovers, get in line for Cluck Clucks (609 Queen St. W) grand opening this Saturday at 11:30am. The first 100 guests get to try new menu item “Hold the Cluck Up” (waffle cone filled with chicken breast )f or a buck.

Kensington Market’s newest resident Dipped Donuts (161 Baldwin St.) changes flavours and varieties often. You may find Maple Bacon or Chocolate Stout Bombs, or limited-edition concoctions of London Fog, Orange Rosemary, or Spiced Pear & Toasted Almond Fritters with Cardamom Vanilla.

Celebrity Chef Mark McEwan brings his Fabbrica concept to the Blue Mountain area with Fabbrica At Thornbury (27 Bruce St. S.). Après-ski with authentic Italian fare? Sì grazie.

Full House Desserts (4750 Yonge Street, Unit 121) opens Saturday. On the menu: Traditional Hong Kong desserts including HK Mango Pancake. Signature dessert Full House Sago will be given to the first 100 customers Saturday and Sunday. Door open at 12pm.

Curries are the specialty at Indilicious Fine Indian Cuisine (3358 Dundas St. W.)

Scarborough may be known for its diversity of cuisines, but Mississauga is quickly stepping up. Case in point: A taste of Egypt via Masrawy Egyptian Kitchen (2275 Britannia Rd W, Unit 1).

Parkdale’s home to most of Toronto’s Tibetan restaurants, so those living on the east side will be happy to discover Momo Hut and Gardens’ (401 Danforth Ave) authentic Tibetan fare with a “fusion of South Asian flavours.”

#Brunchgoals realized. Doors opened yesterday for sunny spot Sophie’s Kitchen in Leaside (1614 Bayview Ave.).

32 Chicken St. is not an actual address, but the name of a new Korean-style fried chicken and chicken burger eatery at the edge of Little Italy (409 College St.).
